Tap tiles that add up to the number shown at the top of the screen. When they match, they combine — and new tiles arrive from your pile. Clear the whole pile before the board fills and the round is won. A short wordless demonstration plays the first move whenever something new appears, so there is nothing to read and nothing to set up.
The settings are deliberately out of little hands' reach. Press and hold the gear in the bottom corner for three seconds, then answer the multiplication question. There you can turn sound and vibration on or off, start over, or share play data.
nonna keeps a simple log of play — rounds, moves, and progress — on your device only. The app has no internet access, so nothing ever leaves your device unless you choose to share that file yourself (for example, with a teacher). Sharing produces a single small file through the standard iOS share sheet.
